Question for a friend...
What types of things count as a childs income?
Maintenance -Yes
Child benefit - No
DLA??? Due to childs illness
She cant get an answer from helpline

We haven't done my son's application yet but recently we had a talk from an advisor who used to be an assessor for the loan applications....I'm 99% sure she said that anything the child themself earnt didn't get taken into account, it's only the parents (household) income that gets taken into consideration when making the assessment. I did just try to check it out on the webiste but couldn't readily see the answer0
