Glass pendant light for 100 watt light bulb

I have decided to replace my existing living room light which takes 4 candle bulbs (now fitted with energy saving bulbs) with a light that i can fit a single 100 watt incandescent bulb to as i have some left.
Most of the ones i have seen, even a plain pendent and ceiling rose in argos say 60watts max which seems daft to me.
So any suggestions where to get one as it seems i cannot have a 100 watt light but i can have a choice of multi arm, energy saving lights that take 150 watts or more.
Cheers.

The 60 watts limit was for old light bulbs because they got so hot. I don't think you have to worry about it if you're using low energy bulbs.0

We looked for similar a few years ago couldn't find any either. As mojisola says above, use energy saving bulb and you will be fine to have whatever glass fitting you want (plus obviously it will be more MSE than burning a 100W bulb in the long term anyway surely!)0

it was rare even yrs ago to find any 100 watt light fittings, never mind now.
virtually impossible i would think.
and if you found one, the design might not suit you.Get some gorm.0
