False documents submitted to court.

Options
We are in a case at the moment and the other side have submitted the contract details. However these are false and they have put a date on them valid from xxxx to xxxx we know and can prove this to be false what would the Judge say about this?
We can prove it 100% down to TM database and services provided.

I think it might be classed as perjury of something or other.

Well, I would guess that if you can prove the dates on the contract are false then the contract itself is false and invalid.
What the court would do about being presented with falsified documents, I don't know.

Not a lot Happened to me and they signed my sig when i was in court and i told them it wasn't my sig and i could prove it by showing my sig on my credit card or driving licence they didn't want to know, so asked my solicitor to do something about it the next day after i had lost my case and he said best to leave it alone (No Win No Fee) he had his money so ba----ks to me.

The contract would not be void. The contract which the OP actually signed would be valid.

If they relied on it in Court then it would be misleading the Court. Are the other side represented by lawyers?

Its depending on exactly what has been written. If its a written statement that is obviouslly false, to the point it will mislead the court, then it will be perverting the course of justice.

However, if its just an error with a date - which can quite easily happen - then it wouldnt be taken that seriously. The judge would either allow ammendment to the document or would strike out that particular piece of evidence.
