Next Sale.. even further reductions...

My friend that works in Next, has said that apparently they haven't done as well as they should have on the first couple of days of the sale (hence the tv adverts) and are making further reductions again tomorrow (Fri) - Ladies jeans £5, ladies tops £5 etc etc.

Maybe the £5 ladies jeans is just my local branch, but they're definitely a fiver as my friend labelled them up last night. Her branch was almost £40,000 down on their expected target for the first day of the sale.

They are probably from all the parcels that have been lost! Yes they have lost my parcel - I am fuming.

You should try the next clearance stores, all kids clothes £2, all ladies tops £2, jeans £3. I spent £23 today and could hardly carry all the stuff, fantastic dresses for my 4 year old all £2, even jackets and coats and it is summer stuff great for now.

I've just been to the Next Outlet in Portsmouth and got myself 3 skirts for £3 each - bargain!! Especially as one of the skirts had a £34.99 lablel on it.

I wish I'd got there earlier this week as there are loads of empty rails and not an awful lot left especially in the childrens section.

I went into Next this afternoon to return a top I got in the sale from the directory (tat!). I'm glad I took it back because it's going for a fiver now - and I don't even think it's worth that! They still have loads of stock left and it wasn't very busy either. I think it must still be too hot to shop. I had a quick look round but didn't see anything I wanted.

I have been to our small local Next today. I got a pair of linen trousers for £6.99 (were £24.99) and three tops at £5 each. The original prices for the tops were between £14.99 and £21.99). I could have got more but to be honest, I don't really need the tops I have got but they were such a good buy. I am VERY pleased.

I don't usually care for the Next sale as so much of the stuff seems to be brought in specially. This time however, I recognised plenty of the items from earlier this summer as being on sale in the normal shops.
