im 100% sure im in the support group i have the letter here its says mr blah is entitled to employment and support allowance (esa)with the support component.thanks for letting me know how the money works out i really wasnt sure.thanks for all your help.
Yeah as above... you must have satisfied the tribunal that at least one Support Group descriptor applied (or special circumstances) such that you were determined to have limited capacity for work related activity. The points based descriptors are for WRAG (i.e. when determining limited capacity for work... 15 or more total gives rise to WRAG qualification unless Support group criteria is met).
Regarding the backdating.. you've been getting assessment rate while appealing... you should get Support component backdated to the date of the DWP decision that you were 'fit for work'."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -

Call the DWP and check they have received the decision notice. If they have not, send a copy yourself. Backpayments can take up to thirteen weeks to process.0
