do you try and cover up the time you spend online?

i saw a thread on a mums boardwhere women were saying they rushed round looking busy before their partners came home. They didnt want them to think they had been online all day etc. They quickly shut the laptop. Some of the responses were amusing.
This is not the case for me but does anyone here rush round when they know partner is on the way. Do you try and cover up time spent online etc?

Of course! I normally stop 10 mins before he comes home, wash the dishes and start my DD's dinner but I do also have a reason for spending so much time online as I have to make websites. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

Nope, OH spends hours on his xbox so it'd be a bit hypocritical to be bothered by me being online!0

one person said they bring ironing down to make it look like they had been busy:D:footie:0

No i don`t cover up my time.
9/10 times my dh walks in and im on the sofa with a cuppa and the laptop and i wouldn`t expect him to not like it or moan.
Housework is done, kids are clean, fed and happy and his dinner is ready to be dished up
I do however know of some women who literally do nothing all day and spend all day online! My old neighbour would be so lazy that she wouldn`t even get washed and dressed each day.....i wonder if she rushed about before hubby come home lol! Very funny though.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Yes. I hide my internet use.
I hide my cigarettes.
I hide my bookie slips.
I have a bottle of vodka under the bed.
 (Why would anyone hide their internet use unless they knew they were doing something they shouldn't?)May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
