Anyone used booking.com?

Hiya

I'm just trying to book a hotel room in amsterdam but can only find it on booking.com. I've never used that site before so just wondered if anyone had any experience of it? I'm just a little suspicious as I've always gone with lastminute.com before!

Thanks :)

:D

Yes, it's one of the biggest of it's kind in the world.

But to be honest, why not book directly with the hotel in question? They may give you a discount for doing so.
  • I use it loads. I like you can cancel usually up to the day before arrival with no charge. I've never had any problems with them. We are going on a family weekend to Munich next month and my whole family have used them to book with. Hope that helps
  • I've used booking.com several times..no problems :D

I've used it several times without any problem.

As another poster said, I'd try teh hotel (do they have a website) but if booking.com is cheaper, go for it.

Problems with them, booked a hotel in France, said 3 nights for price of two, paid booking.com for first night and when, after 3 nights went to check out were told that we couldn't have the offer as we had booked with booking.com. But it said 3 for 2 on their site! Never again.

That's a problem with the hotel, not with booking.com.
  • I always found booking.com expensive against companies like alpharooms.? Maybe I was just unfortunate but it was always the same?
