Hello all,
I am 32 yrs male. I am looking forward to doing a degree in criminology for which i will have to do access course 1st. This course (access) itself costs £500 which i am poitive i cant afford. I have been in debts for past 3 yrs, which is being sorted out by consumer credit councelling (cccs).
I am on full time job but my wages are that, every month i save nothing but does go overdraft £50 or slight more. I am getting no help from anywhere. Even student grants are available to people on benefits, which i am not on.
can anyone PLEASE help me and advice me.
thank you all

You can get up to £200 towards an accredited course from your local ILA if you are earning under £15K a year and up to £100 for computer training if you are earning over £15K.
In England - http://www.learndirect.co.uk/
In Scotland http://www.learndirectscotland.com/
Some unis also have access to learning grants, which you do not nessisarily need to be on benifits to recieve, for example those offered at Edinburgh Uni are found here http://www.lifelong.ed.ac.uk/cpe/opens/fees.html2007 comping challenge - Won £25 / need £1040 -
