Hi
We took out a loan with Black Horse in Dec 2004 £12000 total payable £18522 PPI= £6178.59 which was then replaced with a new aggrement in Sept 2005 £18500.00 total payable £27.264.00 PPI= £4749.87.
Subsequently we remortgaged in May 2006 and payed off Black Horse £19.500.55.
Now assuming if and how i workout the PPI to reclaim.....could i still make a claim?
The reason i say this is that i had a call from a PPI reclaiming outfit that said they could only claim for me if i had the aggrements running for at least a year, but as you can see one aggrement was replaced with another and was goin to do it myself but got a bit confussed because of the additional aggrements and with settling it all with the remortgage.
I had no problem with my bank charges but this ppi in my case is confussing.
hope i make sense
thanks very much in advance

Hi There do you have reasons for claiming, how do you feel you have been mis sold this insurance?:mad:0 -
Hi Maxdp
Yeah i've only come back to this issure because it has always nagged away at me an cause of the phone call i had recently.
On each instance i was told i could only have the loan if i took the PPI, I even sent the aggrement back with the box for PPI unchecked and was returned to me.
Also in 2006 i even telephoned the head office telling them i wished to cancel the plan and was told i could not.The only thing putting me off is calculating this mess.
Many thx0 -
Hi
My opening balance = £18,173.59 which broken down is
actual loan = £12000 APR 10.9% they then added the PPI plan whichi is £6173.59 so then a rebate figure = £4078.28
so leaves a settlement figure of £13,761.52 carried onto the next loan
so this rebate of £4078.28 is it a mixure of PPI and loan amount or just ppi ?
Just chippin away at this tryin to make some sense.

your best off asking the provider for the statements and also request the closing statements that way you will know exactly what you have been charged and if any thing was rebated when you changed over. YOU HAVE A CASE FOR MIS SELLING if they have returned the paperwork and basically forced you to take their PPIHi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
