Basically it is de-glamming the whole wedding dress photoshoot.

It doesn't have to be as drastic as it sounds. Here's one I did:

Although I did one with a couple who took it literally! :D

    I love them too - I think they're great....
I would love to have photos of walking the dog and planting veggies (stuff I do all the time) in my dress...!!
But then, as you know....I'm not even getting married, so it's just a dream...!!
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

  • Hi all!! :-)

We are in a similar position to the original poster. We took photos for a wedding car business that were used in their promotional material, from that and our small portfolio we have been asked to do some wedding photography. With my boyfriend being a perfectionist :D he wants to do some practise shots with either a real wedding or with a 'mock' wedding before the big day.

If any of you are in the Midlands/North West area and would like to either participate in a photo shoot or would allow us to shoot a portion of your day for our portfolio then please PM me :-)

    Any interest greatly appreciated!!!

    Thank you!

We aren't really a million miles apart so perhaps we could share some ideas and suppliers - not sure how practical it would be but keep in touch if you think it would work.

 Whereabouts are you Dizzie? You could do a mock shoot for us so you get to play and we get the photos :rotfl:

  • All shapes and sizes get married and want photos - it might be easier to get photo's looking great using supermodels (tho probably not) but people want to see 'real' people when they look at portfolios ;)

Start looking for that dress :T

I'm not that fussed about the size - I'm a life model for a drawing class, so I don't have that issue...just think you would want to have someone photogenic.

If I ever get married (I'm sure it will happen one day!!) I will let you know...but OH is still married for another couple of months..!!

If he wanted to travel to east sussex on 25th septemeber 2010 then my sister is looking for someone just like your husband who is willing to photograph her wedding for free and use her photos in any advertising as she wont be able to afford one and will just be family photos.
