conservatory base

Hi, we are thinking of getting a conservatory with a steel base system .
we have had a quote and the price is good, but we can,t find any reviews on the easy base system .
does anyone know anything about these ,or has anyone out there got one .
thanks jade.

    Google Durabase.
I installed one of these when I assembled a conservatory with my son. I don't know if it was actually supplied by Durabase, but it was very easy to do, and the adjustable feet made it a doddle to level up.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

These are excellent for a quick and easy install, but not so good when it comes to potential movement over time.

These conservatories also look too perfect - literally a large model kit with no character. Just like a McDonalds in your garden

The ones I have seen cost much more than a similar traditional conservatory, so make sure that if the cost is higher, then it is worth paying more for

Presumably you can't have a brick dwarf wall but full height glass or upvc bottom panels which IMO never looks as nice (we have full height glass one and I don't like it)

Hi I had never heard of this system either but it sounds very convenient (our garden is on a slope, so we'd avoid having to dig down and level everything off). But the price sounds dear, I was hoping to pay around the £6000 mark max. We've been quoted over £7700 for a conservatory with this easy base system measuring 3.75 by 2.75 m, including plastering moving pipework etc. Nothing fancy, just a lean to style with a polycarbonate roof. Is this a good quote? I felt it was a bit steep but not too sure. We were going to head down to the showroom to see what it looks like at the weekend. Still waiting on some traditional quotes as well.

    Thanks

    Jo
