    Hiya,

Argos, Asda and Index are really good for bits and pieces. I got 2 Sleeping Bags from Argos a couple of years ago, fleecy inside and warm as toast, for about £12 each.

Cardboard boxes are good for the entrance to the tent to stop it from getting muddy and to leave your muddy boots on so the groundsheet stays clean.

The 5 litre mineral water bottles are good for carrying your water in. Like someone else said, windbreaks are essential for a bit of privacy.

If you're buying a little stove, think about what you will put it on. After years of having our cooker on the ground we finally bought a metal stand for it.... much more comfortable  and I can now cook sitting down in a chair instean of crouching down.

Don't underestimate how cold it can get at night. Make sure that you take plenty of warm clothes and fleecy blankets for the kids.

Also... bear in mind that if you umm... get up to anything in the tent, once the kids are asleep......with the lamps on.... other people outside can see your sillouettes!!!!!!!!!! :D
Just run, run and keep on running!

I dont mind if people watch me drinking lol

I was told if you buy really good sleeping bags for the right time of year then we wont get cold and no need for extra blankets. Will take the kids fleecy blankets to start off with as its all new to us. Will definitely get a camp kitchen to put the stove on. I think we're going to need a trailer pretty soon!
