Selling a tennanted house?
Comments

Spoke to the EA again today, he wont give notice to the tenants until I exchange.
I emailed him back to explain why I couldn't do this, and that the contract is for vacant possesion. I emailed my solicitor about it, but it looks like I'm going to have to walk away as I can't see a solution if he won't budge.
That'll be £1,500 down the drain then.0 -
The seller may change his mind whan he realises that you are walking away, and that future buyers are likely to do the same.0

It's a difficult situation. I had to move becasue of work so rented my house out. I have also made the decision to put it up for sale. I don't really want to buy somewhere new now but as I live away from the area just feel that my house is a burden. My tenants are good tenants looking after the house, pay their rent on time and even show propective buyers round.
I understand that it will put people off looking at a house with tenants but there are a lot of reluctant landlords out there in the same position.
I there was a simple solution we would all be doing it. Unfotrtunatly there isn'tTurning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0
