Student Finance Application 2010/11

Options
Just got my confirmation letter through and realised I've made a huge error on my application. I've selected non-income assessed and as a result have been offered the 75% maintenance loan and no maintenance grant (that I can see) whereas I wanted my application to be assessed on my/my parents income. Would it simply be a case of phoning Student Finance England and getting them to cancel my original application and then re-applying?
Regards

I'd give them a call in the morning. 01412433600 if you want to avoid the 0845 number.
The closing date is a while yet so you should be able to get it sorted.

Is this a first application or continuing funding?

Just download PFF1 forms from the website, fill those in and post with a covering letter saying you want to be reassessed on parents income. Saves you a phone call.

and you would need to do this even if you called them first, so saves you time too!

We made this mistake last year with our son, you can down load the form stated as above or type a letter stating that you now wish to be means tested.
