Cahoot want to speak to me....!

Hi all

I have received a letter from Cahoot requesting that I call them so that they can discuss my ppi mis-selling complaint. Has anyone else received the same response and, if you spoke to them, what did they ask and what was the outcome?

Hi there
I think the best correspondence should be in writing, in case they try fobbing you off by putting you on the spot in regards of your complaint, on the telephone.

So its not essential to have to correspond on the telephone, they should still have to deal with your written complaint in writing, and also you will then have evidence in writing to forward to the FOS if you decided to go this direction.;)

I've just called Santander... I wanted to say to them that they have had all the info you need to investigate, however the person who answered first said that I had not sent a complaint and then, when I pointed out that they had acknowledged my complaint in writing, he said that he couldn't discuss it as it was regarding a Cahoot product. Managed to get an email address from him, so have now sent an email making the point that I was unable to comply with their request, even though I had tried! Useless!

Hi, following on from my unsuccessful attempt at speaking to Cahoot last week, I received an email from them saying that a letter had been sent out to me. I've been waiting with bated breath since last Wednesday and it finally arrived today... and they are offering me a refund of £1754.11! As before, thanks to all the usual suspects for their help and advice! I really can't believe how easy this has been so far.
