Loosening a screw/nail without a screwdriver

Hello.
this may seem like an bvious question to many, but I'd appreciate your help nevertheless.
I have a computer that I've been asked to check out. I need to open the case to be able to do this. got one of the screws out OK, but the other appears to be a nut, not a screw. can't use a screwdriver to do it, the bolt head bits that come with my drill aren't small enough, and my pliars just grip but don't turn (or I'm not strong enough).
To get an idea of the size of the nut, take a look at the back of your case. On the right hand side (looking from the bank at the back of the case), you'll see a couple of screws. they're that size, and not the big thumb screws either.
I don't even have a spaner small enough to undo it, and was wondering if anyone could either recommend an easy in-house way to do it, or else a small enough spanner that I can get on the net, with next-day delivery that can do the job.
Cheers and take care.
Hussein.

You need something called a nut spinner - basically a screwdriver handle with a box spanner end - there's a set on Maplins website: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=3784&criteria=box%20spanner&doy=27m7
or else there are sets like this one: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=48332&criteria=box%20spanner&doy=27m7
which are interchangeable sockets you use with an electric screwdriver or similar. However I've no idea how good their delivery is.0 -
Thanks. Been looking for such a spanner set all night. 5mm was the smallest I could find. And it's not badly priced either. Will get onto Maplin's soon and get it. Thanks!
Cheers and take care.
