Hi All,
So I have been claiming since last summer for PPI on a MINT card. When I got the latest statement today I noticed that the PPI wasnt on it but I have not had a response from MINT regarding my claim. The claim is with the Ombudsman at the moment. Any ideas? Would they have cancelled it because they are going to make me an offer or do they just cancel it when you lodge a complaint?
TIA!

Its up to you, but have you requested for a Subject access request (SAR)?
They have 40 days to comply, you enclose £10 postal order or cheque payment and they must send all the info on your account they hold on you.
This may help, where you may find documentation within the SAR to support your case.
SAR letter with details here:

Hope this helps, good luck to you X;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Thanks for the reply Di. I applied for a SAR at the start of this process in order to find out what charges had been made etc.
I just found it strange that although I first contacted them about my claim last June, this is the first month that the PPI has not actually been charged to my account which made me wonder if perhaps they are going to make a settlement offer?
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for a refund as it would more or less clear the debt which would just leave the overdraft to tackle!0
