Hi there all
Wondered if anyone had some advice for me regarding my ppi, I took out a loan in 2005 i think and took the option to have ppi as i thought it was beneficial to have, I was made redundant at the beginning of 2007 but was on maternity leave at the time and thought i would be able to use my ppi but was told i couldnt as i was not on jobseekers allowence, I am still not working as my daughter is not at full time school so im wondering if its worth trying to claim even though i was not mis-sold per se i have ended up having ppi that is useless and the loan will be finished next year, I dont recall ever being told that i would not be able to use the ppi unless on jobseekers when i took out the loan.
Ant advice would be gratefully received.xx

Hi and welcome.
With your reasons write to them and give them 8 weeks to respond, if they did not pay out then you should have the right to reclaim, so basically this was worthless to you and put you out of pocket, therefore you would have been deprived of your money.
You write to the ones who set up the loan, more info with guidelines of reclaiming below, and do not worry about writing the amounts down as they should provide them to you if successful, or you can request for these.
Good luck and please keep us posted.;)

it does sound like you have a case for mis selling alot of people dont belive that the polict was mis sold to them because they agreed to it. However this is not the case the responisibilty lies with the provider to follow a set sales process for what can be a complicated productHi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
