I thought mail forwarding for as long as possible then a quick change of address to my mothers address so I have 2 credit cards to fall back on over the next 10 years whilst I wait for my credit to repair itself?

What makes you think the addresses are not already linked on your credit report?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Don't think he's ever looked at a credit report - which is particularly brave when he's trying to do what he's talking about.
Although he did say that he wouldn't need any more credit and cash is king so it does seem like a contradiction to worry about dormant cards."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

Could you not just do some extra work and pay off the cards like any normal person. Sure it must be easier than all this sodding about.0 -
Could always stop paying, do a bunk and wait 6 years for the debts to become statute barred...

Arh phuck it! Packing my job in tomorrow and bumping all of my loans and cards, seems like a plan judging by some posts on this forum!
6 years time I can do it all again, not have to worry about who will/will not accept me anymore. :cool:Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
