Hi all, I think my MOT is due soon, but I can't remember when.

I can't find my MOT certificate, and I've not had a letter from the garage that usually deals with my car.

Is there anywhere online where I could look the due date up? Is there some sort of online service for this (using Reg no, or chassis no)?

Hope someone can help.

as above try the vosa website.

On it somewhere is a link to http://www.motinfo.gov.uk unfortunatly it isn't working right now. If it was a computerised MOT you can check status by typing in your number plate and the reference number on the front of the v5.

You could just go and get a new M.O.T. you know. You don't have to wait until the old one expires!

  • or call VOSA, say that you are a prospective buyer wanting to buy this car, and are checking to see when the mot ends. Just be careful thought it your mot has expired the call may trigger them into action. Personally i would use the website then do the phone call.
