    Hi Everyone - I'm back :hello::hello:

Wow - have just been catching up on all your news and there is lot's of it - so much that I don't know where to begin so I will just say for now, hope you all had a good week and enjoyed the sunshine, if you had it, and for anyone who hasn't had such a good week - hugs and best wishes.

I had a lovely time down in Hants but now back to the city and it's quite muggy here tonight. I am now on high alert for the June bugs as I saw a few whilst away - ooh they give me the creeps and it's about this time of night they appear so have to do a dash to close all the windows if I see them and suffocate for about an hour or so til they disappear:eek:
I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

I dont mind the shopping part, its taking my son thats the pain, he hates trying things on and insists that it will all just 'fit' until we get home and he realises that i was right after all!!. :D

How did Monday go, up or down? And how's the search for posh frocks going?

Lost a pound at Monday's weigh-in (total loss to date 3 st 11 1/2 lbs) and hoping for good one this week as we had no treats whatever on Monday night, instead of stuffing ourselves - really really trying extra hard to lose as much as possible before our holiday. Frocks (my dad use to call them that, even if it was a blouse and skirt) - will find out tomorrow at the car boot/market if friends with clothing stalls have found me anything yet. I did get a gorgeous navy leather handbag today at the car boot - only used a coule of times she said and it looked almost new - cost the princely sum of £1.50!! Luv it Luv it :T
Computer problems earlier in the week, maybe that's the reason. Just wanted to let her know we'd missed her really.

Ah bless - nice to be missed :A

Definitely not an NSD tomorrow then GB?? :money:

Well I think they have fixed my internet connection this time - was off again early yesterday until this aftenoon - it was a software problem there end and they have fixed it

I hate not being able to go on the 'net when I want - I kept going to look something up and couldn't - I like to have knowledge to hand at all times - not much to ask is it?? And as for not getting on here, that was real bad - and it takes so long to catch up too

Oh and realised that I get the full £23.33 from TopCashBack as they have not kept back £5 fee - so more for me goody goody

We got the brochure through from my cousin for our holiday - been drooling over it all afternoon. My big Sis has booked and paid for our overnighter in Edinburgh on the Sunday night as a treat so that's a start. I hope to book our train tickets for Newcastle to Edinburgh & back and book the kennels for woofers at the start of next week, so that will be something else out of the way. Big thing about internet being off was that I could not do any eBaying  Will have to make up for that tomorrow though

I will be back later - just going to post on NSD & other threads :D

Were going nowhere spectacular solvents, we are going to Rhyl for the week, as its our first family holiday with the baby (his 1st holiday) so we chose it to be a more laid back kind of holiday instead of going abroad.

The Mrs has had it stressful the past two weeks, with both me and baby ending up in the same hospital at the same time, she has been frantically running backwards n forwards, pulling her hair out with worry, so I am hoping it will be as much a recuperation for her as it will be for me and the baby.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the right hand side is a red "warning" triangle report.gif. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

Welcome to the debt free wannabe board. A great place for seeking advice and inspiration and support on getting out of debt. Please read the above in case you come across one of the very few trolls or more frequent spammers that come our way.

Please join in and bump Fred to page one if he is found lost and wandering - Thank you:)
