Nargle - you know I was telling you about the latest fire in Wisbech, well just remebered that the Church in Westry, March was gutted by fire a month ago too - there is just a few stone walls left standing
People do not think the current fires are linked and refute the stories about the empty buildings being used to sleep in by illegal immigrants (we have got a few here as you will know!!)
They believe they have traced the owner of the Phoenix - seen serving in a chinese in D Mkt .......The council are temporarily funding the attempts to preserve the facade with scaffolding on the front (and inside when that is cleared) so hopefully the Georgian frontage of North Brink will not be spoilt

But hubbie and I can't work so time does not matter to us too much. We must be some of those wasters that he was talking about - we can't use cancer, arthritis, etc etc etc as an excuse can we - the fact that hubbie has worked all his life without a day on the dole until the last 3 years and I worked for 20 years before being retired on health grounds has got nothing to do with it. Mind you I worked for DHSS and saw many many people who did not work when they could!!!!
That was the very first time I have stayed up all night for an election though we have stayed up for overseas test matches before (on the radio before sky took it up). I don't know how you do it - I am still shattered. My problem is, left alone, I would stay up all night and sleep all morning - sounds good to meMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
