    Good Morning All

So thats Numpty, Spoon, Nicca, Niddy, Washer, Horace, Emily and anyone else who appears soon. :D AND all the newcomers of course.

Trollzappers are the first line of defence against the worst scum in the universe (well on MSE anyway :rotfl:)

This place is becoming like the Waltons (although only a couple of days ago, Tixy, we were saying it was quiet - only you and me around:)). Much better when it's busy and there are a few of us:D:D:D.

I think Trollzappers would be quite useful anywhere, not just on here. I'm sure we could sort out some of the world's problems between us - anyone want to start :rotfl:

Right, I really do have to go and do some work - think I need a kick up the **** though or I might find something "important" to look at on here:rotfl:

To all the sufferers with a sore throat - lemon juice, honey, hot water liberally laced with whiskey (Irish as it's St Paddy's Day)... that'll sort you out:)

Just found this lovely pic which I've posted on the other thread for Phil and Nicky, so thought we could have a vase of sweet peas over here as well to brighten up our new home :D

Sweet peas remind me of my garden in summer, although I have alot of work to do in there before then, I have alot of work in the house too, only if I could find the energy although I have coloured my hair and had a lengthy bubble bath:D. Off on the school run, and off to get some more wine, I was a bit heavy handed with it this morning marinating the beef with it, i hope social services don't read this, I wouldn't want them thinking I give my children alcohol to knock them to sleep! (the sloe gin however would work a treat:D).

Have a lovely afternoon whatever you are doing.

Loving the sweet peas Spoon. Having a wee bit of trouble smelling them today but I'm sure a couple of swigs of your prescibed medicine will help sort that out :D.

H - I'm the same with my throat. I do have that (supposedly) sexy husky voice thing going on though :D. Just ruined by a wheezing coughing fit :rotfl:. And nothing sweet in the house (well, apart from fruit... but that's jsut not the same, however sensible oranges and kiwis would be right now!)

    BUMP

I am not motivated today. I think you'll find chocolate is best for a sore throat nicca, good quality chocolate will sooth it no end, in fact chocolate is best for most things.
I wonder if it would motivate me?

Washer - I'm sure social services would no you wouldn't waste wine on children!!

I'm back - can't get motivated today at all:( but it seems I'm not alone:).
Tixy - I tried chocolate earlier to wake me up and get me going - it didn't work needless to sayconfused-smiley-17432.gif
Washer - could try colouring my hair, I guessconfused-smiley-17432.gif. Sloe gin would finish me off at the moment, so I better keep off that..

Oh well, think I'll just go and find something "important" to doconfused-smiley-17432.gif

PS: Love the new bump Tixy

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the right hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

New page so a new reminder. Please don't be put off by any hurtful or insensitive comments. Trolls are not welcome on the DFW board but new posters with problems most certainly are.
    Welcome on board.
