I went from a petrol Zafira 1.5 to a diesel 2.9 Sedona. The mpg is about 5 less on the petrol Zafira than on the diesel Sedona; whether this is a significant difference will of course depend on how many miles you do and your disposable income. The insurance on the Sedona is a fair bit more. The seats on it do double fold, and can be remove completely unlike the Zafira, although of course you then need somewhere to put it. In my case, the proper back seats in the Sedona were wanted (the ones in the Zafira are pointless).
The Sedona is big, like a SWB transit.0
