Halifax Loan

Hi,

I took out a Personal Loan agreement with the Halifax in November 2003.

I have the loan agreement showing all the details.

I have not seen any posts regarding Halifax loans - is there a likelihood of success?

If so i will just follow the procedures outlined on the site.

Any comments/advice would be most appreciated.

thanks

JohnHawk

    Hi and welcome.

For whatever reasons you have for being mis sold, then you can continue to make a reclaim just as long as you have the account number details.

They have 8 weeks in full to respond, keep at them until you receive the final decision, sometimes they write back to request for more information, if they do not uphold in your favour then you can take your complaint to the financial ombudsman service (FOS).

The link below is the guidelines of reclaiming, with a checklist of mis selling reasons, write what applies to you, you can use the template letters if you want to, or as guide with your reasons.
Do not worry about writing down the amounts, if successful they should supply these to you, or you can request they send them to you.

    Your very welcome John.

I would write to the head office and get proof from the post office.
    Good luck with this.;)
