I have heard the fan switch on, it gets quite noisy, Oh, I must also add that my internal heater is very cool and does not heat up as much as it used to, not sure if that means anyhting

depends, could be a dodgy internal switch
airlock in the system, especially if its not been bled properly
blocked matrix
failed HG0 -
Thanks Custardy, guess my fist point of call is the sniff test, think that's the best - thanks again for your advice.0

Are you actually losing water, and are there any signs of water in the oil or oil in the water? ..........a sure sign of a head gasket failure. If the heater matrix isn't getting warm it could possibly be an air lock in the system due to having not been bled properly after previous repairs. Another possible cause is a sticking thermostat.
I think you need to ask around for a decent proven mechanic who should be able to check this out for you.0 -

Nope, not losing water - definitely going to ask around for a decent proven mechanic. Thanks0 -
Best bet is to sell the car, you might get £800 or so and invest the cash into bus fares.

I'm not stupid, I know that radiators don't fit themselves but to be charged £160 to supply and fit a ford fiesta radiator is excessive. I was showing that the radiator cost £80, the fitting should have cost no more than £40.00.
Utter rubbish. You have no idea how long it takes to remove and fit a radiator to a Ford Fiesta. Neither do I, but I'd be very surprised it if takes less than an hour.0 -
If the cabin heating isn't as strong as it once was, there's clearly a problem with the circulation of coolant.0

Yip, going to find a decent garage to look at it.0
