natwest taking me to court for overdraft

i am sure someone out there has been in the same position & just wanting some pointers.
they have applied to court we've filled in statement of affairs & just about to sign acknowledgement @ local court.
in the mean time their solicitors have sent a letter back with another soa to be done with no mention of any priority debts looks very biased wanting to know car details & value of house contents:mad: even though there isn't much (all money went into business)
letter states the court ruling right at the top of the letter
asking for £9700 ,charges 6 years £7000!!
deff have a hardship claim as haven't taken a salary for over a year ltd company gone bust which we owned as we tick 7 of the financial hardship items!

what do we do? they have official court soa which is current (even though priority debts have increased) which I think is acceptable
are they trying to settle prior to court knowing that a judge might look at our situation favorabily

any ideas??

Perhaps they are seeking to bankrupt you?

As you have no apparent income, you suggest you have next to no assets (that's what they appear to be seeking to clarify) and you owe over £750, it could be their intention.
