I've had just over a week break from ebay while I went on holiday and being paranoid about getting a neg checked my account as soon as I got back home...No there aren't any negs but a buyer I mentioned previously that my gut instinct was telling me was trouble had sent me a rather odd email.
This is a brand new user, registered and BIN'd my item within 2 days then gave an invalid address and phone number. reported them to ebay who just kept telling me they would take the 'appropriate steps', ie do nothing. I finally got a valid address and sent the item off and now they have emaled saying they don't really want it now they have it so thought they had better warn me before leaving me a neg in case I wanted to do anything about it????
It's a European buyer so postage was high and I therefore decided to offer a refund of the item cost but not p and p, I'm just waiting to see what they come back with.
Sorry this is just a whinge but I'm tired, I'm horribly jetlagged and I just wondered whether it might be a good idea to maybe send a second email saying something about negs aren't supposed to be used just because you change your mind, but I wondered if that might inflame things?

PS I have reported the buyer to ebay for feedback extortion...but it is a bit tenuous so I'm not holding my breath.
