Hi guys
Thinking on taking my parents away in Sept for a holiday and have narrowed it down to 3 choices, Sharm, Domincan Republic or Cyprus.
My mum isnt really bothered where we go as long as there is sun and sand, same for me and my other half... my dad on the other hand is used to their benidorm style holidays with something going on every night. Does sharm have good night life i.e caberets, shows etc... some decent english type bars and stuff he can go to (even tho we planning going all inc)
Are their any parts of sharm that are best to stay in for nightlife? what can we expect?
Thanks, any advice welcome

Plenty of English bars and the like im Sharm, along with the american big chains... TGI and such. Not sure about cabarets, dont remember seeing anything like that. Loads of shisha bars.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0

Naama bay is the best for nightlife in Sharm although I dont recall it having cabaret nights going on

Sharm is really 'common'.
Cyprus, if you get the righ resort, is very good.0 -

I've not been to Dom Rep but have been to the others. I would say if they like Benidorm, they will probably like Ayia Napa. I have visted them once each and found them similar. Not really my cup of tea so haven't been back to either.
I've been to the Red Sea half a dozen times and i wouldn't really compare it to either of them. Even in Naama Bay itself, there isn't anything by the way of shows/cabarets outside of the hotels but there are restaurants & bars. Be particularly careful of the hotel location if you decide on Sharm as a lot of them involve a taxi ride to get into Namma Bay or Sharm. Not very handy if your dad likes wandering off to find a pub.0 -
