Thanks for the look, made me smile, although what did you do while you were washing Robin's lincoln greens, either the hat shrunk or your head has grown.:p:D

Hospital just called, neurologist wants to see me at 11.30 tomorrow at the end of clinic! Now I am really worried:(

don't be.. just be pleased he is taking this seriously and providing you with the help you need before it becomes an emergency. He obviously knows you well enough o know you wouldn't have anurgent appointment unless you were concerned about something.. that is a good thing!

I hope it goes well.. :D
My MIL came this morning to do the very same! We've had a good sort out and clean up. I was really nervous too about how it would go, but it was really fine in the end. How did your morning go?

    oooh lucky you!!

Friends helping and now MIL!! Where do you get these people?

Is the flat looking better now?
A friend has just sent me a pic of me (Robin Hood) and DH (mediaeval peasant) from Saturday's party it won;t be here long :p

    Penny. x

Removed link for you already but.. that is a fabulous picture.. You make a marvellous Robin hood.. and DH looks very handsome too.. neds a bit more mud next time!!

Ruth.. Of course your mum can hear you.. she is you as you are her and while the pain is raw right now you will learn to live with it. It is 5 years since my gran died and my mother said it still feels like part of herself is missing, it leaves a hole nothing can repair but you will survive.. still she will think.. Oh I'll tell my mum that.. and the pain hits her anew. Your mum is very very lucky to have you as her daughter, someone who cares so much about her that you can't bear to let her go. Be relieved she is free from the pain and suffering of her illness and her long lovely life which you were lucky to be a part of. Your life won't ever be entirely the same but it will change and evolve as new people come in to your life.. Sons-in-law, grandchildren..

Ive had a bit of an eventful afternoon at i thought i would leave early to pick up the boys from school and nursery, pulled out from my parking space turned onto the main road and my car conked out right in the middle of one of the busiest roads in my town!! I was sooooo embarrassed and slightly frightened too actually. And this happened because i forgot to put petrol in tank - i saw it was on low this morning but thought it would be ok lol, thankfully this kind man saw me attempt to push my car - i was going nowhere and was bright red at this point and helped me put it into a good spot and went and got petrol for me - there are still people in this world that will go out of their way to help you:A

With that fiasco over i am going to cook dinner and do nothing this evening this has just worn me out today physically and mentally lol - at least it wont happen again lol xx

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room ta da!

Mind you, it's taken me two hours to do it properly. Anyone else think the lists are too hard at times? Probably my fault I have such a huge kitchen!

But, scrubbing out the fridge AND doing the oven in the same week is a bit excessive in my book. And I've cheated. I have TWO fridges - so I've only cleaned out one! :p After all, Piggers said THE fridge - she didn't say which one! Next time it's on the list I'll do the other :D

I'm now even tireder so might just say hello to Gordon and brave the cool of the back garden and catch the last of the setting sun rays.

    Hi all

I've had rather a busy and somewhat productive first day off. Went to some friends, guy wanted me to help him prepare for an interview...quite hard work as I don't really see him in the role, but I tried my best. I've not done much off the list, though I'll try as tea is cooking - DH did some of the kitchen yesterday but I have:

cleared basket in bathroom & it's ready for bin
    joined freecycle
    listed elec steamer on freecycle
been to sorting office to collect parcel
been to bank to pay cheque in
been to waitrose for milk & pop
    left feedback on ebay
    spoken to my gran :)
put dh's wool jumper in the wm on a handwash cycle

    penpen - love the pic!
sandy - hope it goes well tomorrow. great that they have given you an appt so quickly
ruth - big hugs. i once heard that grief is like a whirlpool of emotion and I'm sure it's true.
