Count me in please although I'd rather be gardening.

Thanks to Pigpen, Toots, Soappie and the mysterious third Toots.

I'll be here mainly doing my dailies and the odd hoover and mop along the way. Hoping the sun will shine and I can get lots of gardening in!

Just listed an item on ebay, off to do the ironing now. I'll do a list for the week in a bit.

PenPen - hope your BiL gets a new job real soon.

Toots I'll be thinking of you

LadyL and Ruth you are both in my thoughts

Hi! Well this week I'll definitely be only dipping my toe in on any form of housework - I'm busy busy busy on everything outside the home this week! However, every little helps!

  • The KH dropped DD2 off this evening from yet another new Landrover. It promptly refused to start :D. Graciously allowed him to call the AA on my phone and wait for them indoors with a coffee. But sent him to wait in DDs' [STRIKE]bedroom[/STRIKE] foetid pit:A.

Heard him walk in. Silence. Pause. Few heartbeats.

'OH MY LIFE!:eek::eek:YOU LIVE LIKE A PIG!!!!!!!':eek::eek:

DD spent the period tidying up whilst he propped himself against the doorframe drinking coffee watching and talking to her. (like I haven't tried that one myself...)

Nevertheless, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - she thought I wouldn't ever follow through on showing him exactly what a mess the room was!

AND - he even told her to tell me he said thank you for the coffee!!!!!

One small victory in a month of being immobilized with a duff ankle, some nasty nasty kind of flu (been vaccinated against swine & seasonal, must be bird, I suppose) lasting a fortnight and a whole mound of OU coursework.

Just glad I remembered to empty the litter tray before he turned up, as it was getting decidedly funky....

    Evening all,

Toots i hope everything goes well at the hospital and that you're not too bored without your laptop.

I've had a lovely Mothers Day, the boys made me breakfast in bed, Ds2 made me some bath salts at nursery and i had some chocolates. OH cooked Tea, gammon, instant mash and frozen mixed veg , it was nice not to have to cook though. We went to Puzzlewood today http://www.puzzlewood.net/index.html and it's the most wonderful place, a couple of episodes of the new Dr Who were filmed there and i think Merlin was as well.
