Do GHD straighteners work in Mexico?

Me and my wife are travelling to Cancun in 2 months and my wife is desperate to know if her GHD's will work over there? They didn't work in America or Dominican Republic but did work in Tunisia (although she said they didn't heat up as much) so we are unsure.

Please can you guys help if you know :)

If they are multi voltage they will if not they still will, but not as good.

I suspect they arent since they didn't work in the US so you may be out of luck.

Mexico uses 110V like the US, so they won't even get luke-warm

And the humidity may well make your hair frizz regardless of your straighteners! Go for plaits like mnay tourists there and don't worry about your hair for the whole holiday then!

I don't know about Mexico but mine worked perfectly in the US (Florida), heated up as normal...

I spend most summers in mexico and they do work but they take longer to heat up.

Yep, I think that's the one! I just plugged into an adaptor and no problems.
