Avenues Dating Service

Has anyone had any experience of using Avenues dating service, a friends sister used thema and is now happily married with a number baby, so she found it really successful.

I have heard that they are really expensive though.

Would be interested to know if you know of any happy stories or how much it costs.

I have spoken to Avenues but they want me to go to a 90 minute consultation ( of course without any obligation), and there and only there will they discuss the cost.

Any stories / advice would be great.

They will really put the pressure on you o join in your interview. I have never tried dating agencies, but my uncle met his wife through one and they've been married for over 20 years:)

Good luck, but don't let them put the hard sell on you. I have heard of people signing up (not necessarily to Avenues) just so they'll let them get home - the pressure was that bad.

PS I think they have been on Watchdog :rolleyes: but not 100% sure

Have tried match.com but to no avail seems to be lots of people who aren't very serious about actually getting to know some one properly, really glad though that you met MrH, glad the online thing worked for you.
