Price Comparison Site Updates...
Options
I'm looking into switching my gas and electric from Scottish Power and have been using a couple of comparison sites to decide which company and tariff to go with. Even Martin is saying that now is the best time to compare and consider moving.
The bit of an issue I'm having is that, as I understand it, the comparison sites won't update until the new price changes actually take effect, and there may be a short delay even then. I'm looking at moving from fixed price to an online tariff, and realise that any price reductions aren't going to make a significant, if any, difference, but...
...I'm considering going to Npower. Yeah, I know they've a poor reputation, but the current £130 cashback (probably) makes it a risk worth taking. I've seen that they give a £105 discount after a year, but just found out with a bit of Googling that they appear to be reducing this to £90, and it makes me wonder if I should just wait until all the supplier's price changes make it on to comparison sites first, but then risk missing out on a large cashback.
Any thoughts?

Nice to save.

the new prices from the BIG 6 won't all be on the sites until the 1st April, that's when the last of the major companies, SPower gas prices come down, there will probably still be a couple of the minor companies still to publish new prices but they account for a very small sector of the market.0
