I heard someone mention Solo which is a 'super cheap' oil company, less then 1 penny. Bargain
The market cap is the real price tag, this one is valued at 14.5m

Compare it here to larger more familar company names - http://www.stockchallenge.co.uk/ftse.php

SOLO is actually very interesting, it is currently drilling an area which is highly proven and more importantly its partners are AEX and TLW - TLW is a giant of an oil co (ftse 100) and has a reputation for hitting many 'gushers'. There's no guarantee they'll hit but it's a proven area so for a small player like SOLO the rewards are massive as they have 12.5% of any strike. You pays your money and all that, if you fancy a punt then yes, if you want a blue chip then no!! I've chucked a few grand at it today as I suspect traders will start buying the share over the next week or two as the drill bit deepens. I'm looking to get 1p when i come to sell, currently 0.7p to buy.

So are they basically like a lottery ticket on future oil finds, I presume they have no present ongoing oil business hence the low valuation of them.
Also for a company that low capitalised, you have to wonder how will they finance their future involvement with any oil extraction. I think tiny stocks require more questioning of this type
Anyone who gets the ftse all share trackers will have like 10 shares of companies like this, no hassle no risk and no dealing cost0 -

In 1990 a friend suggested we bought some Tullow Oil shares. We weren't at all sure about this, particularly as money wasn't exactly sloshing around in the Cottager household at the time, but we bought 500. How we wish we'd gone for more! The price then? - 23.5p.~cottager0 -
Have a look at monitise (moni)0

MONI already priced for perfection so imo not a good investment.
SOLO flying already.0 -
NWR looks a great recovery play at 730p, massive coal reserves and due to open another mine in Poland shortly. Was touted to hit £30 before recession, could see £20 again imo.0

aminex up also.
producing US assets and N Korea/ Nyuni license makes it a better play than Solo (little more than a David Lenigas Xmas Party Fund)0
