HSBC: Internet banking transfers

Has anyone else noticed that HSBC have reduced the amount you can transfer online from a HSBC account to an external bank account to £5,000 from £10,000/day - unless the Payee is listed in their list of organisations (which remains at £10K). Seems that you now need to call them or go to a branch if you want to transfer…

The HSBC payment limit under BACS also used to be £10K - hence, I'm so surprised they changed it..
