Car Boot Advice

Golden car boot rule = don't overprice! Ask only what you'd be willing to pay if it was on someone else's stall!
After all, if you're selling it you obviously don't want it anymore so no point in hanging onto something over the price. I often see people taking as much home from a car boot as they take having only made a few pounds. I normally clear about 80% of my stuff and make a good sum.
Eg: If you've got something you want £2 for and are offered £1.50, take it! No point in keeping it for the sake of 50p!0 -
don't take too much stuff! If your stall is too full no one can see what you are selling and it looks like you've just emptied the loft into the boot.Car £1500
Parents £5000
Barclaycard £900.68
+ 127,000 Mortgage

This will deter people climbing in your boot as you try to unpack.
I find unpacking with other people rifling through your bags and boxes really does get annoying
Make sure you put your table out before you go for a walk - this ensures that the cars next to you don't steal all your space.0 -
And make sure you account for the price your pitch will cost you - normally a tenner if you take a carfull."People fear what they don't understand and hate what they can't conquer"0
