hopefully a low spend day today...... gotta treat myself to a muffin in Greggs as they are BOGOF with the voucher on their website. but then I might just stay in the office at lunchtime - have packed a lovely salady picnic to eat.

Well that wasn;t tooo bad a day.
Tuesday: 80p for 2 Greggs muiffins (brekkie today and tomorrow).
£5 on a black t-shirt in DP (I resisted the 3 for £12 even tho they had the most amazing cerise colour)........... this was VITAL as the one i was wearing was really old and had obv not washed properly so STUNK and no amount of deodrant at work would mask the smell (well in my opinion anyway).

On the up side I did bank £13 in change at the bank at lunch tho this is going straight on credit card debt.

so after today I am now £5.80/ £40 and off to admit my sins on the clothing challange.

Been to Ikea today as I needed some bedroom curtains. Didn't get the curtains, but had lunch and came home with some storage for the kids bedroom. The best bit was, I didn't spend a penny!! Good old mum ;)

So a fabulous NSD for me :D xxx
    :heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:
  • Hi everyone!

Hope your spending is minimal and your challenge is going well!:)

Monday - Had a comedy night to go to. OH was already in town at work with his car, so I took train to meet him (Should have been £3.05, but conductor had no change and just took £3!). Took OH out for dinner to classy (!) and very cheap Wetherspoons - I'm NOT counting this though because OH discovered that I had been overcharged by £5 per month for past 9 months for mobile phone contract! I'm now £45 in credit with the company, so I won't be having to pay my direct debit this month (or next 3 months!) and my bill has gone down, so I used money put aside for this to treat him (total cost of £12.25). Problem was he managed to catch me off guard by asking for £2 and then lost it in a fruit machine! I SOOOOOO hate that and will have to get used to telling white lies that I have no change! Comedy night - 2 drinks = £4.95!! But what the heck - it was a night out! Took OH's car home so no travel cost back home!

    Tuesday - NSD :A

Today - did grocery shop with mostly value brands = £13.78. No spends planned for rest of day, or tomorrow, but another comedy night on friday. Looking good for GREEN again though!

Total Spend so far = £70.00/£23.73

    Good luck to everyone else!
    :A2014 = my year for change!

    Evening budgeteers

I have £3.38 to declare today on food for breakfast and lunch but that was it.

I went into M&S on the way home and there are definitely some bargains to be had.
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • Hi everyone,

I'm having to restrain myself from going to that M&S Sale - sounds amazing but I really don't need anything - But if I go I will want everything!

    Todays spends:

A few saver brand tins to restock the cupboard & 2 pizzas on special offer for a 'treat' - cheaper than a take away OH initially badgered me for! = £5.46

Total Spend so far = £70.00/£29.19
