The house across from us was bought be a local hotelier and is being rented out to what look like tradesmen up here on contract work and the odd holiday maker/student.
Problem is the bins are located at the front of the house (theres no access to the rear other than through the house) and because of the nature of the properties use the bin is always full of tins of lager etc and overflowing.
The bins are hemorrhaging litter across the street at times.
What can I do about it? Is he allowed to rent it out in this nature? Is he allowed to use the regular bins even though its a business?

If the only problem it's causing you is with bins, a sensible first step is to politely ask the owner to get this sorted (if you haven't already). As it's a rental place, the owner may not know about this or may not know that it's bugging others. Regardless of what he's allowed to do, many businesspeople will avoid annoying the neighbours where possible.0

Are you certain he is only using the regular bin collection service? Whether he needs a business service depends on whether the property is classed as an HMO or B&B. Speak to the owner and ask him to rectify the problem. If you are not successful speak to Environmental Health at the local council and tell them you have seen rats and they will get the hotelier to sort out his waste management.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
