Land Registry question

Hi
I'm trying to find out how many flats on my street have been bought and sold, and for what price (it is ex local authority and I think most of them are still owned by the housing assoc, but I need to find out before I decide whether to buy). I've looked on the land registry website but it isn't clear to me whether I need to pay for each address? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

why not just go to www.rightmove.co.uk and look on house prices - there you will find the history of all sales in your street... and its free0

The LR site will not show true value of a flat if the sale was RTB, it will only show discounted price. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Thank you all for your replies. I've checked all three sites - none of the flats(about 50 in total) have ever been sold according to this. bit worrying but I know that they were in a mess until five years ago, when they were clad with brick and given new windows. Still a bit shocking that despite right to buy, none of them have been bought so it makes me wonder whether they are mortgageable at all, as I've never been successful in getting a mortgage for mine.0

Have to say none of the sites listed above show any of the local authority properties sold on my street but they do show on the land registry site.
Do a street search on the land registry site and choose a property similar to yours then it'll cost you £4 for the details.0 -

That's interesting - thanks! I'll try that and post here what I get - was a bit confused by the result of the other sites!0 -
Hi Iwantoneplease - I can only find an "area search" which costs £15. I would pay this but I wondered where you got the £4 from? there are lots of different searches so I will email them to check this is the cheapest way unless I hear back from you. Many thanks.0

Try this link then just put in your postcode, will list the houses/flats on your street then
https://www.landregistry.gov.uk/wps/portal/Property_Search
or add the www. landregistry.gov.uk/wps/portal/Property_Search
For properties you are interested in, you can download:- a title register where you can find out who owns the property, price paid/value stated information if sold since April 2000 and any rights of way or restrictions on the land noted on the register for only £4 (view title register example)
- a title plan defining the property for only £4 (view title plan example)
- a Flood Risk Indicator result showing the probability of flood for the individual registered property, produced with data supplied by Environment Agency for only £6.50 (excluding VAT) (view Flood Risk Indicator result example)

Thanks iwantoneplease. If that is £4 per property it will be best for me to do a search on the whole street. Thanks for responding.0
