British Gas pay as you go electricity big consumption

I am newly move to flat in northfield and i have a little problem with energy consumption in my new flat. Its 1 bedroom small flat with eletric heating (2 calortec electric radiators) and pay as you go electricity with british gas. My consumption in 2days was 10pounds its no very much?? If its 10 pounds every 2days i will pay every month only for energy 150 pounds monthly for 1 bed flat,,its horrible.Can you help me with this problem?? Thank you.

    storage heaters are very expensive if set incorrect, call bg and ask for energy efficency advice and how to set them properly.

    Ella, it is only 7 days till the first day of spring. When people will consider turning the CH off. We will have to see how warm it is though.
    If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
    Spring begins on 21st March.

    Might be a daft question but do you have an economy 7 type tariff where you pay less for electricity during off peak hours? (e.g. overnight).

    If you're on electric heating and not on this type of tariff I would definitely see if you can swap (I assume it's possible with prepayment), even if there is a charge.

    OP has electric radiators, not storage heaters (unless calortec electric radiators are storage heaters?).
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    When you phone, check there is no outstanding debt from the previous tenant/owner on the meter also :)
