Lloyds TSB Debit card

Following on from the thread about the orange HSBC card.

Does anyone know what the green Lloyds TSB visa debit is for. I don't mean the all green 2012 olympic version, or the advance or airmiles credit card.

A few people have gave me one at work that is the original black horse design without the white background, but a green one instead. I don't mean the green stripy sort of thing either that is behind the horse?

Is this the student account or something else?

Yes I use to have one; it’s basically like the old style debit card (white background black horse design) but has a green backing. It’s a savings account, I use to have the guaranteed tracker savings account (it’s called something else now I think) and they provided me with a debit card and was able to pay over the net, in shops etc.

I believe it is a full auth debit card given with certain savings packages.

I think this card is was my freind has with his ltsb basic acc he can only use at lloyds tsb atm no link and the post office he also cant get cash back at super markets but can use to spend there
