St Mary' street has most of the chain pubs like Walkabout, Oneils etc. There are about 8 different ones. Walkabout has a dance floor. The prince of Wales pub on the corner is good for a starting point. There is also the brewery quarter off st marys street which has restaurants and a few bars. There is also the infamous chippy alley so you can get fed before home

ps it's normally pedestrianised on a Friday night so you can stagger around safely too!* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

I prefer the other end of cardiff myself - Lloyds bar etc. Seems to be a bit more trendy.
To be honest everything is in walking distance so you're never far away from a busy place.0 -
st marys st/wood street area has edwards, reflex, flares which are usually quite fun for cheesy girly dancing.
if you want more of a club environment oceana is popular with the young 'uns (greyfriars road)
the pub i think you are on about by the bus station is jumping jacks, although i think it has changed its name in the past few months.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

where you all staying? that will help determine the best places to go. saying that, if you're a bunch of girls together you won't please everyone all the time so in that case there's not much to recommend other than the whole of st mary's street, greyfriars rd and the hayes. they're all within 10mins walk from each other so just get there and follow the crowd.
p.s. the bay is a taxi ride away and has a few pubs and bars and food places but in march i wouldn't bother so much. keep that for a summer's night deffo.
i lives in cardiff see.0
