I'm sure I saw in Birmingham it was less than that too, so youmight have to shop around?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

I think it's depending on if it's organic or not?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

How do you ensure a sheep is organic? Surely it's impossible to be absolutely sure what it has eaten wandering over the hills?Barneysmom wrote: »I think it's depending on if it's organic or not?
My butcher charges £2.68 a lb for a whole sheep and they average between 40 and 50 lbs. A 50 pounder would work out at about £130.0 -
Hiya, I have just watched a sheep program and the farmer was selling some sheep at a market for around £75 each - live ones. Then there is the work and profit on top.If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -
It doesn't sound too bad a price to me. I was chatting to a butcher a couple of months ago, and he was saying that lamb has shot up in price recently. And even he was having to pay around the £100 mark for them. And these are non organic, btw.0
