If i take out a new card on a 0% for 12mnth rate does that include cash advances?? and if so which cards?

Whatever you do don't take a cash advance on a credit card. Normally say you have a balance of £500 which was all purchases and will be interest free as long as you pay the minimum every bill. If you take a cash advance of say £100 you pay interest (normally about 16- 20%) on that 100 until you clear off the £500. Thats what the card companies want you to do. If you really need cash, keep an eye out for bargains, buy them on the credit card(interest free for purchases), sell them on ebay, then you have some cash to spend.;)

There are certain cards which allow a Super Balance Transfer. This lets you transfer cash from your CC to your bank account. Virgin Money's card allows you to do this at 0% for 16 months for a 4% fee

No it does not, interest are around 27% for most cards and sometimes even more and more often now, credit card providers report on your file these days if you have taken some cash from your CC, that can have an impact on your credit file.
