If I Start To Receive A Rental Income, Can I Still Claim Job Seekers Allowance?

Hello all.
I am a home-owner and am now also on Contribution-Based Job Seekers Allowance (£65/wk).
If I was to rent out one of my rooms (for approx £120) do I lose JSA and Council Tax Benefit entitlement?
Or am I entitled to a certain amount per week before losing it all.
All advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

If you have single person discount on council tax you'd obviously lose this, but JSA and CTB I'm not sure of - are they means tested?

I would place your post in the benefits forum here.

depends on how much the income is but if its over JSA weekly amount you would only be allowed about £5pw JSA, you would also lose any HB or council tax benefit.
