I am not whining, i never mentioned the word poor you did. As for hitting a nerve with the ridiculous argument, not in the least. I must of hit a nerve with you because of the amount of responses you have given. Oh and the fact that you keep coming back to this thread. Even though it is incorrectly placed. You sound like a child in the school playground, take it to pm, (see you after school). I call it bad manners, you call it blunt. No there is no crime in that. But i was not brought up that way and i do not bring my children up that way either. I am afraid i strongly believe that manners cost nothing, and i am richer for that.0

Hi, dont know if I dare post on here now :rotfl:
Anyway I work at B&Q and we havent done 20% off b4 this weekend for a long time but we have been told to keep all the POS for 20% off and there were no dates on it so guess it will be happening again soon. There may be something happening this coming weekend or the one after but we dont find out till just b4 it happens. If I hear anything I will post on here.0 -

Could the mods move this thread to the grammar section of the forum please? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Spent £166 in B&Q yesterday on bits for the garden.
Cashier asked why we didn't go in on Friday or Saturday and get 20% off.
I gave 3 answers:
a) Didn't know it was happening
b) Weather at the weekend wasn't quite so appropriate for gardening
c) Wife would still have spent £166 even after the discount!0 -
