As a regular B & Q user I can tell you that the offer before Xmas was 15% as was the sale prior to that.

You are right it isn't for questions, but it was clear without clicking on the thread that it was a question and not a grabbit. You need not have wasted any time looking if it bothered you that much.

So that makes it OK then ? To you and the other people defending to the death the right of someone to post their questions somewhere it specifically says not to, fund and set up your own forum where you can do that. There's not many rules in this one, and they're not too difficult to follow.

Get off your high horse. All the forums are about helping each other. More so for people like most on here who cannot afford much. People who need savings on practically everything. Just so they can merely exist.

Firstly, no high horse, I simply pointed out that grabbit is, as described on the main forum page, "For reporting hot bargains, not requesting them".There are loads of other forums on this site more suitable for asking questions.
And in reply to your other point, being poor removes the necessity to follow even the most simple rule of this forum in not posting questions ? What an utterly ridiculous argument.

    Grabbit's not for questions :)

You seem to be just going around finding people who have posted on wrong threads and correcting them, why?
It is not always easy to know where to post something, especially if new. The moderators will move something if they want, doesn't need you putting new people off posting with your comments.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

If a comment like the first one I posted puts someone off, then they are far too sensitive a delicate little flower to be using the Internet unsupervised :)
I post far more things on here than just in grabbit where I occasionally point out to people things they have either not read or ignored... The board guides don't have time to read all the threads, so someone pointing something out can be helpful.

Where do you suggest they STICK IT ? I know where i would like to stick yours. As for us poor people, you obviously are not. Another poor person as you eloquently put it would not refer to another person in this way. Maybe with all the time you have on your hands policing the site. You could spend it designing it so it is easier to navigate. I have been coming on here for years, and still cannot always find things i am looking for. I used to post in my partners signing in, and was thanked numerous times. Not once would i be self righteous enough, to point out that they are posting in the wrong place. You could of politely answered the question and then, pointed out nicely that they are posting in the wrong area. I have noticed you have done it again today. With zero degree of manners again. (Utterly ridiculous argument), rather have a caring nature, helpful to all, good manners, and be POOR. Than be like you x x x x x x x

    Zero degree of manners :rotfl:
The 2 occasions I pointed out to people about the same thing - posting questions on grabbit, in neither of them was I rude or impolite. Perhaps blunt, but that's not a crime.
As for the 'poor' thing, you brought that up in your first whining post which IMO was less polite that the one I posted, furthered by your response above about 'sticking things' - hit a nerve with the 'ridiculous argument' comment did I ? :) Perhaps if you want to whine about this further, you take it to PM ?

Sometimes its best to not comment lots of these type of posts on here now. Best grabbits are on hotukdeals, this part of forum is poorly monitored none grabbits stay on here for days sometimes

Nothing wrong with your post rsykes2000, you were not rude just being informative. Op should know where to post they are not a newbie
