Beware b&q bark offer

went to b&q in aberdeen today. offering 3 x 100 litres of bark for £12. However the bags actually advertised 4 for the price of 3. got to the till to be charged £17.98 for 3 bags!!!!, complained and ended up getting the 4 bags for £12. However girl said she would remove the ticket but as we left it was still there and spoke to some people who's receipt charged £17.98. I cant understand why people never check their receipts.

What is the actual deal on this???

The website lists 2 options. One says 100l 5.98, and a multibuy option also on 5.98 with no info, so you would think that when you clicked on that they'd tell you, but there is no information.

Anybody know the definitive answer??

The wickes deal is 3 x 90l for £12 on their website, perhaps that is more economical than driving to b&q and the time spent finding out.
