My friend has an animal rescue place and she is desperate to faise funds for it as it is on the verge of closing. Does anyone have any ideas where she could get help with grants from trusts? Or any ideas in general on fundraising please. Thank you.

Your local CVS or maybe your LA will have software to enable you to make a funding search.
If you have any probs contacting them, PM me telling me where you are, and I may be able to help.

It may be worth while popping into the library as they may have books on which organisations can help
  • Our local council produce a booklet a couple of times a year listing all the local and some of the national funding agencies. Or as someone said the CVS should be able to help.
  • Register on funding central and do a search
    http://www.fundingcentral.org.uk/Default.aspx
I am a professional fundraiser and use this all the time, it is free to use
    Hope this helps xx

  • FunderFinder can be accessed for free at those CVS that subscribe to it. It's also available at some libraries for free public access. From memory in London (Sutton, Islington, Fulham, Walthamstow, Lambeth). If you ever want to know where you can access the program, contact us, by phone or email - google us.
